Fiberglass tape is an adhesive product made from PET film, woven with glass fiber yarn or cloth. It features excellent alkali resistance and durability. It also offers high resistance to abrasion and moisture, and can achieve optimal packaging efficiency with economical weight.
Fiberglass Tape Product Categories:
- We offer striped and gridded fiberglass tapes, as well as single-sided and double-sided fiberglass tapes.
- The adhesive used is either a hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive or an oil-based adhesive, depending on the application.
- The thickness of the fiberglass tape can be adjusted based on the weight and material of the packaging.
- Special specifications can be customized by making the tape into master rolls and slitting them into small and long rolls.
- We offer low, medium, and high viscosity grades, with residual adhesive and no residual adhesive, depending on the intended use, to meet diverse customer requirements.
Main Applications: This product is widely used in a variety of industries, including home appliances, electronics, automotive, communications, aerospace, construction, bridge construction, hardware, and printing. Specific applications vary depending on the type of fiberglass tape:
1. Carton sealing and packaging: Single-sided fiberglass tape is recommended. Both striped and grid patterns are acceptable. For special requirements, please contact the fiberglass tape manufacturer for customized tapes.
2. Heavy object bundling: For metal coil sealing, bar, pipe, and steel plate bundling, single-sided fiberglass tape is recommended. Both striped and grid patterns are acceptable. For special requirements, such as extreme strength or heat resistance, custom tapes can be used.
3. Appliance Fixing: We use a home appliance fixing tape specially designed for the temporary fixing of home appliances and office equipment parts. The typical advantage of this residue-free tape is that it will not leave any residual adhesive when removed.
4. Construction Industry: Grid fiber double-sided tape is a crucial component of EPDM sealing strips, ensuring long-lasting adhesion to doors and windows.
① Used for bonding window seals;
② Used for bonding door edge and door bottom seals.
This is currently a common application for fiberglass tape, but there are certainly many more applications to explore. Compared to ordinary tapes, fiberglass tape not only boasts significantly enhanced adhesion and strength but also exhibits superior abrasion and moisture resistance. Therefore, its applications are expected to continue to expand.
