With the continuous intensification of internal competition in the glass fiber industry and the rising prices of glass fiber raw materials and fuels at home and abroad, reducing production costs has become the key to the survival and development of enterprises in fierce competition. The main cost in the production of fiberglass is the cost of raw materials. If the amount of recycled fiberglass waste reaches 30% of the total amount melted in the kiln, it will significantly reduce the amount of mineral raw materials used.
Based on the development of glass fiber waste recycling technology at home and abroad, as well as the experience of glass fiber waste recycling in practical work, this paper systematically explores the technology of glass fiber waste recycling from three aspects: processing technology, raw material technology, and tank kiln technology. The experiment compared and analyzed the operating conditions and indicators of different processes, and the results showed that when using waste silk as a new raw material, it is very important to adopt technologies that are suitable for its production characteristics.
