What performance indicators should be considered when choosing external wall insulation mesh cloth?
1. Thermal conductivity: As an insulating material, the lower the thermal conductivity, the better. Generally, the thermal conductivity should be less than 0.14 W/m·K. For cold insulation materials, the requirement for low thermal conductivity is even more stringent.
2. Bulk density: The bulk density of insulation materials should generally be less than 600kg/m. Materials with low bulk density generally have low thermal conductivity, but at the same time, the mechanical strength is also reduced, so it is necessary to choose reasonably.
3. Mechanical strength: In order to prevent the insulation material from deforming or being damaged under its own weight or external forces, its compressive strength should be no less than 3 kg/cm².
4. Water absorption rate: After the insulation material absorbs water, it will not only greatly reduce the insulation performance, but also accelerate the corrosion of the metal, which is very harmful. Therefore, it is necessary to choose insulation materials with low water absorption.
5. Heat resistance and use temperature: Insulation materials with different heat resistance should be selected according to the temperature of the place of use. The "maximum use temperature" serves as the standard for evaluating the heat resistance of insulation materials.
In addition to the above performance indicators, factors such as construction, cost, and transportation of the insulation material must also be considered when selecting exterior wall insulation mesh.
