The role of external wall plastering and anti-crack mesh cloth

Mar 12, 2024

When storing the mesh cloth, we must also pay attention to the surrounding environment and be sure to pay attention to dry storage. If the mesh cloth gets damp, it will affect normal use and even affect the quality of the project. When using mesh cloth, it must be constructed in accordance with national standards. You cannot cut corners or self-reflect on procedures to ensure that the mesh cloth is constructed correctly.
When insulating external walls, a layer of mesh cloth is usually added. This mesh cloth is usually made of some polymeric organic bonding materials. This material is usually made of water-soluble high-quality materials. Molecular materials, incorporating a certain proportion of surface active agents, can effectively disperse these emulsion powders.
The exterior wall insulation mesh also uses some chemical foaming agents and some composite physical foaming agents, which are finally formed in the foam stabilizer. This kind of material is usually made using different proportions and different elastic molds, and the length will match some fiber types.

The role of external wall plastering and anti-crack mesh cloth
When plastering, is it better to hang steel wire mesh on the base layer or hang mesh cloth on the plastering surface layer to resist cracking? The premise is that the inner wall of the block wall is not plastered for insulation.
In this construction, the "base layer" must first be determined. In the specific construction, the steel wire mesh is first hung on the base of the block wall (its base is the block wall). Now, let's unify it to the plastering base (because plastering requires layering, we call it the first layer as the plastering base) to discuss if we want to talk about hanging, the block wall base and the plastering base, both not good. Why do you say this? There are two reasons: one is that the shed cannot be tightened when hanging, which will cause uneven stress after construction and is prone to cracks (but the steel mesh has a better-tightening effect than mesh cloth); the other is that when painting, the mortar must be applied hard on one side. Blocked by the hanging steel wire mesh and mesh cloth, the mortar cannot completely drill into the back of the mesh and bond well with the base layer, which easily causes hollow knocks and cracks.
