The use of external wall insulation mesh is safe and convenient, but due to the particularity of insulation mesh, it is not a flammable material, so there are certain regulations on its use. Insulation materials in residential buildings should meet the requirements:
1. For buildings with a height greater than or equal to 100m, the combustion performance of the insulation materials should be Class A.
2. For buildings with a height greater than or equal to 60m and less than 100m, the combustion performance of the external wall insulation materials should not be lower than the B2 level. When B2-grade insulation materials are used, horizontal fire isolation belts shall be provided for each layer.
3. For buildings with a height greater than or equal to 24m and less than 60m, the combustion performance of the insulation materials should not be lower than the B2 level. When B2 grade insulation materials are used, horizontal fire isolation belts shall be provided for every two floors.
4. For buildings with a height of less than 24m, the combustion performance of the insulation materials should not be lower than the B2 level. Among them, when B2-grade thermal insulation materials are used for external wall insulation materials, horizontal fire isolation belts shall be provided for every three floors.
