The quality of alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh cloth:
1. The poorer glass fiber is usually made of some waste glass of beer bottle type, the production process is clay crucible drawing, which is a state prohibited production process, and the surface coating is not alkali-resistant emulsion.
From the intuitive point of view: the workmanship is relatively rough, generally in the market on the volume to sell more, often insufficient length, gram weight is insufficient, folding two on the break, the joints are not firm easy to shift, and easy to stab the skin. Such grid cloth used in the insulation layer generally loses strength after two months, if the mortar knocked off the grid cloth out, as long as a light grind, glass fiber yarn will become powder.
2. There is another kind of glass fiber mesh cloth called imitation platinum, also called mixed silk yarn. This is a better imitation of glass fiber, but it is usually some good transparency in the selection of waste glass flat broken glass, the fiber diameter is relatively fine. It is sometimes difficult to judge its authenticity from the surface, but its quality does not meet the requirements of real alkali-resistant mesh fabric in exterior insulation anyway.
3. standard good quality grid cloth, are used platinum glass fiber as the substrate, both in the selection of materials and the weaving process are more careful. The coating emulsions used are all with good alkali resistance. The excellent alkali resistance and high warp and weft tensile strength make the products have good handfeel and good construction suitability, and reduce the amount of plastering mortar to a greater extent.
4. The scope of use of alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh in the external insulation system:
A. External wall internal insulation usually adopts: 3×3×45g, 5×5×80g
B. External wall panel insulation system adopts: 5×5×130g, 5×5×145g
C. Exterior wall rubber powder particle system: 5 × 5 × 160 grams
D. External wall tile finish or insulation layer below two meters: 3×7×10×300 grams
