Alkali-resistant glass fiber
Compared with ordinary alkali-free and medium alkali glass fiber, alkali-resistant glass fiber has its remarkable characteristics: good alkali resistance, high tensile strength, strong corrosion resistance in cement and other strong alkali media, and is an irreplaceable reinforcing material in glass fiber reinforced cement products (GRC).
Alkali-resistant glass fiber is the base material of glass fiber reinforced cement (GRC). With the deepening of wall reform and economic development, GRC has been widely used in interior and exterior building wall panels, insulation panels, air duct panels, garden vignettes and art sculptures, civil engineering and many other applications. It can make some products and components that are difficult to achieve or incomparable with reinforced concrete. It can be used for non-load-bearing, secondary load-bearing and semi-load-bearing building components, decorative parts, agricultural and animal husbandry facilities and other occasions.
Alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh cloth is made of medium alkali and alkali-free glass fiber mesh cloth as substrate, post-treated by acrylic copolymer glue. The mesh cloth has high strength, alkali resistance, excellent acid resistance, strong bonding with resin, easily soluble in styrene, hard stiffness, excellent positioning, mainly used for cement, plastic, asphalt, roofing, wall reinforcement materials. It is mainly used for GRC pre-paving, coating or mechanized forming, especially suitable for on-site construction of exterior wall insulation projects.
Production process and advantages of alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh cloth
1, 14.5%~16.7% of zirconium dioxide and 6% of titanium dioxide are introduced into the glass composition, melted by high temperature at 1600℃, drawn into continuous filament by platinum leakage, spelled and twisted into textile glass fiber, and coated with polymer water-soluble epoxy resin and coupling agent in the drawing process of monofilament to meet the affinity of glass fiber mesh cloth with alkali-resistant polymer in post-processing.
2, in order to further improve the alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh fabric safe and stable durability performance, after the warp knitting process into leno-like again coated with styrene butadiene rubber and pure propylene emulsion, with constant temperature and speed constant tension control technology to make it glued fully (this process is developed by Germany BASF in Europe for alkali-free glass fiber mesh fabric alkali-resistant coating technology) early can effectively resist the polymer mortar Ca (OH) 2 hydration period on the glass fiber The alkali-resistant coating is effective in resisting the erosion of the glass fiber mesh during the hydration of the polymer mortar Ca(OH)2 After coating, the slip resistance of the intersection point of the mesh is 3.5~4.5N.
3, alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh alkali resistance in addition to coating alkali-resistant coating, its main alkali-resistant way is the formation of zirconium, titanium ion mixed film on the surface of the fiber itself, to prevent alkali erosion. With the growth of time, the chemical state of zirconium gradually tends to be stable. As in Table Ⅲ, the alkali resistance retention rate of alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh is more than 85%, which is much higher than other glass fiber alkali-resistant coated mesh, so we can also call it a natural alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh.
The defect of alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh is the high production cost, which is related to zircon, rutile and melting temperature, and also due to its short materiality, the initial strength is not as good as medium alkali and alkali-free mesh.
