Fiberglass Grid Installation Methods are as follows:
1. Before installing the fiberglass geogrid, the underlying support layer must be leveled and compacted to prevent the underlying filler from puncturing the geogrid.
2. Horizontally lay the geogrid taut and straight, avoiding wrinkles, twists, or potholes.
3. Vertically overlap the geogrid, ensuring the overlap width is greater than 15 cm. Tie the overlaps securely with nylon rope.
4. Horizontally lay the geogrid so that the anchor length at both ends is greater than 2 cm. Avoid exposing the folded-back end and cover it with a 30 cm thick layer of crushed stone.
5. No construction vehicles or machinery are allowed to operate or remain on the laid geogrid.
6. Check the quality of the geogrid at all times during construction. Any defects, such as breakage or tears, must be repaired or replaced immediately. The repair area should extend at least 30cm beyond the crack.
7. After each section of the fiberglass geogrid is laid, use a rubber-tire roller to roll it one to two times in one direction. When the roller is moving forward, roll over the geogrid, and when it is moving backward, return to the unpaved section to compact the geogrid.
