With the promotion of building energy-saving policies, the energy-saving technology of exterior wall insulation is being developed in full swing. The mesh cloth woven from glass fiber is used as the base cloth, and the alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh cloth made of a polymer alkali-resistant coating on the surface is being widely used. It is buried in the plaster layer to improve the protective layer. mechanical strength and crack resistance. In the testing of exterior wall insulation engineering materials, there are 6 standards involving fiberglass mesh cloth, and their testing methods are different. The details are as follows.
1. Comparison of commonly used testing standards
The technical requirements and testing methods involving glass fiber mesh in commonly used standards are as follows.
(1) In accordance with the standards of JG158-2004 "Rubber Powder Polystyrene Particle Exterior Wall Insulation System".
① Unit area mass: ordinary type ≥160g/m2, enhanced type ≥500g/m2, tested according to the regulations of GB/T9914.3-2001;
② Breaking strength (warp and weft): Ordinary type ≥1250N/50mm, reinforced type ≥3000N/50mm. The breaking strength in the warp and weft directions is measured according to the provisions of Type I in GB/T7689.5-2001;
③ Alkali-resistant strength retention rate (warp and weft) ≥90%, tested according to JG158-2004 6.7.6, using cement slurry as alkaline solution;
④ Elongation at break (warp and weft) ≤ 5%, measured according to GB/T7689.5-2001;
(2) In accordance with the standards of JG149-2003 "Expanded Polystyrene Board Thin Plastering Exterior Wall Insulation System".
① Unit area mass ≥130g/m2, tested according to the regulations of GB/T9914.3-2001;
② Alkali-resistant breaking strength (warp and weft) ≥750N/50mm, prepared according to the requirements of Type I in Table 1 of GB/T7689.2-2001, and the alkali solution is 5% NaOH aqueous solution at (23±2)℃. For details on the test process, please refer to Article 6.6.2.2 of JG149-2003. Soak for 28 days, take out and soak in tap water for 5 minutes, then rinse with running water for 5 minutes, then dry in an oven at (60±5)℃ for 1 hour, store for 24 hours before use;
③ Alkali resistance strength retention rate (warp and weft) ≥50%, prepared according to the requirements of Type I in Table 1 of GB/T7689.2-2001, the alkali solution is 5% NaOH aqueous solution at (23±2)℃. For details on the test process, please refer to Article 6.6.2.2 of JG149-2003. Soak for 28 days, take out and soak in tap water for 5 minutes, then rinse with running water for 5 minutes, then dry in an oven at (60±5)℃ for 1 hour, store for 24 hours before use;
④ Fracture strain (warp and weft) ≤5.0%, measured according to GB/T7689.5-2001;
(3) In accordance with the standards of JGJ144-2004 "Technical Regulations for Exterior Wall Insulation Engineering".
① Alkali-resistant tensile breaking strength (warp and weft) ≥750N/50mm, tested according to Appendix A.12 in JGJ144-2004, 20 pieces each in the warp and weft directions. Sample size: 300mm×50mm, soak in (23±2)℃, 5% NaOH aqueous solution for 28d, take out and soak in tap water for 5min, then rinse with running water for 5min, then dry in (60±5)℃ oven for 1h, store Reserve after 24 hours;
② Alkali-resistant tensile fracture strength retention rate (warp and weft direction) ≥50%, rapid method, use NaOH, KOH, and Ca(OH)2 mixed alkali solution and soak at 80℃ for 6 hours;
(4) In accordance with the standards of JC/T841-2007 "Alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh".
① The quality per unit area shall be agreed upon by both parties of supply and demand. The actual measured value shall not exceed ±8% of the nominal value and shall be tested in accordance with the provisions of GB/T9914.3;
② The tensile breaking strength requirements are different according to the nominal mass per unit area. For example: if the mass per unit area is within 161~170g/m2, its tensile breaking strength is ≥1300N/50mm.
