A friend built a new house in his hometown. Within two years, the white plaster walls were so alkali that they peeled off. My friend found a way to repair it with alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh.
Brief construction method of alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh:
1. Keep walls clean and dry.
2. Cut alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh cloth of appropriate size.
3. Clean the wall, paste alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh on the wall and stick it tightly.
4. Make sure the alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh cloth is firmly adhered, then cut off the excess tape with a knife, and then apply mortar.
5. Let it dry naturally, then sand lightly.
6． Fill in enough paint to make the surface smooth.
7. Cut off any leaking tape.
